Crisis Communications

A crisis communications plan was an essential piece of the District’s communications activities that was missing. Work here included the following:

  • Created a crisis communications plan for the district
  • Conducted media training with administrative staff and high school principals
  • Provided public relations and media relations support when necessary including writing press releases, quotes and key messages

Brand Support

Midland Public Schools needed to strengthen its brand but wanted to keep its existing logo. To do this, we met with staff to understand their perceptions and needs then conducted brand and website audits to assess the effectiveness of the district’s brand. This led to the development of brand guidelines, communications templates and education of staff about best practices for communicating and showing a consistent brand.
